“Moving to Aiken 3 years ago, we faced the task of establishing a banking relationship in a new community. The only people we knew were affiliated with the real estate offices of the community we had selected. The realtor suggested I reach out to one of the regional banks and provided me with a reference to Steve Hales. My intent at the time was to interview three bankers but after an initial meeting with Steve, I found it unnecessary to meet with anyone else. He totally filled the bill from developing a financing strategy to completing the mortgage transaction.

My wife Nancy and I have been married for 25 years and have built 5 new homes and bought 1 existing home in that timeline.
