Laurence S. Bolchoz

Laurence S. Bolchoz, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC, is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and Coastal Carolina National Bank. Mr. Bolchoz joined the Company in March 2012 and has been in banking for over thirty-five years. Previously he was Grand Strand Market Executive for First Federal Bank in Myrtle Beach, overseeing 20 financial centers in Horry and Georgetown Counties from 1998 to 2012. Mr. Bolchoz is a graduate of Clemson University, the South Carolina Bankers School, and the ABA Stonier National Graduate School of Banking. He serves on the Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, is the board chairman of the YMCA of Coastal Carolina, a board member of United Way of Horry County, and Community Investment Committee Chair and a board member of Centrant Community Capital. Mr. Bolchoz is past president of the Surfside Area Rotary Club and past chairman of the St. Michaels School Board. He is a past board chairman of the Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA, and past chairman of the South Carolina Bankers School. He also previously served on the board of the South Carolina Bankers Association, the Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation, and the Clemson University Alumni National Council. He completed Leadership Grand Strand, LGS class XIII in 1993.
