Tobin Joins CCNB

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, June 23, 2023 – Coastal Carolina National Bank is pleased to announce that David Richard “Rick” Tobin, Jr. has joined CCNB as Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer.

“Rick brings over thirty-five years of industry experience to the team,” says Laurence Bolchoz, CCNB’s President & Chief Executive Officer. “His vast knowledge and experience in the credit area will be invaluable to the bank,” says Bolchoz.

Tobin has held various positions throughout his distinguished banking career in both the commercial loan production area as well as the credit administration area. Most recently, he served for ten years as Chief Credit Officer at Select Bank in Dunn, North Carolina, until their merger in 2021. Originally from eastern North Carolina, Tobin is a graduate of Appalachian State University as well as completed the North Carolina School of Banking’s management development program in Chapel Hill.
