2017 Scholarship Winner Named

MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina, May 30, 2017, – Coastal Carolina National Bank, names Lakewood Elementary student Kendall Ackerman as this year’s recipient of the 2016-2017 P.A.W.S., “Big Impressions” Bobcat Scholarship Award.

The award was established by Lakewood Elementary to recognize one rising sixth-grader who consistently exemplify the following leadership qualities: Pride (P), Achievement (A), Work Ethic (W), and Service (S), and have made “Big Impressions” at school and within the community.

Lakewood Elementary School Principal, Katherine Roberts, CCNB’s Vice President/Director of Marketing, Maura Utley and other school officials presented the award at the school’s award ceremony on Tuesday.

“CCNB is proud to sponsor the Lakewood Elementary “Big Impressions” PAWS initiative again this year, and we are happy to join Lakewood Elementary in recognizing students for their achievements. Our goal is that this scholarship encourages her pursuit of academic excellence,” says Utley.
