Local Bankers Hold Pursestrings
CCNB Bankers Participate in Charity Event
April 15, 2015 • North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – Coastal Carolina National Bank’s Robert P. Hucks II, (shown right) Senior Vice President/North Strand Market Executive, Austin Cox, Commercial Loan Officer (shown left), participated in the North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club, “Purses with Purpose” on Thursday, April 16 to help raise money for local charities and programs, as well as area schools and organizations. Event was held at Marina Inn Grand Dunes.
“As a community banker, we understand how important it is to provide support to our community in any way we can. When Austin and I were asked to participate, we happily replied with our CCNB motto ‘We Can Do That”. This is going to be an enjoyable event for all those involved”, says Hucks. “
Robert Hucks is a member of the Waccamaw Sertoma Club and serves on the board of the Little River Medical Center (Treasurer) and the Better Business Bureau of Coastal Carolina. Hucks is also involved in Horry County Schools where he spends time speaking with students about the importance of financial literacy. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, the South Carolina Bankers School and LSU’s Graduate School of Banking.
Cox is a member of the Little River Rotary Club and is a Chamber Ambassador for the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce. In 2012 he was named “Chamber Ambassador of the Year”. Cox also serves on the Board of the Little River Chamber of Commerce. Cox is a graduate of North Carolina State University and resides in Longs, South Carolina.
