CCNB Scholarship Winner Named

June 9, 2015 • Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – Coastal Carolina National Bank, names Lakewood Elementary student Lily Kate Simpson as this year’s recipient of the 2014-2015 P.A.W.S., “Big Impressions” Bobcat Scholarship Award. The award was established by Lakewood Elementary to recognize one rising sixth-grader who consistently exemplify the following leadership qualities: Pride (P), Achievement (A), Work Ethic (W), and Service (S), and have made “Big Impressions” at school and within the community.

Coastal Carolina National Bank’s Chief Financial Officer Dawn Kinard, and Lakewood Elementary School Principal, James LaPier, presented the award at the school’s closing ceremony on Tuesday.

“CCNB is proud to sponsor the Lakewood Elementary “Big Impressions” PAWS initiative again this year, and we are happy to join Lakewood Elementary in recognizing the fine qualities Miss Simpson exemplified throughout the school year. Our goal is that this scholarship encourages her pursuit of academic excellence,” says Kinard.
